Title: Early World War Two Polish army
Post by: Dave Fairlamb on 25 March 2017, 12:29:37 PM
As soon as I seen the New Polish stuff from Pedraken I was in Love! 7tp tanks, TKS's! oh my! So I set to work last year on painting up an early war army for BKC. Not really going for any period accurate OOB or anything I just bought a tone of new shiny stuff and started work on it. Hope you enjoy the results CC welcome.

The whole army on display

Would you please tell me what color and make the paint is that you used for eh camo on the armor? It looks spot on!!

Really good looking army. The camo on the tanks is very crisp, and I do like the dashing cavalry.

Yep, can't disagree with the consensus here.  This is a sweet little army.

Thanks for all the nice comments Folks.

Terry37

Paint colours are as follows:

Vallejo 70.890 [Retractive Green] Base, Vallejo 70.984 Flat Brown Stripes/splodges, and Citadel Base Zandri Dust Stripes. Then Brown Ink/Wash (make sure to thin your wash down a little) Once dry, go over the Green and Sand again then I use army painter Anti-shine spray varnish but I know people have their own poison when it comes to varnish. That's it really. Oh PS, Tracks are Dark grey (my own brew colour mix but you can make this easy with any old grey and black mix)

Thanks for the paint info on the armor. It looks really good and I will save that info for doing some Polish units myself.
