First I wanna say sorry for these not beeing pendraken, but the OG figs showed up first.
Second I wanna say sorry for the bad paint job. It was the best I could do with the sculpts.

Hi Gun,
they look fine to me :D, there are some amazing painters on here, I fall into the category with an ability the same as yours, Depends on whether you are happy with them, and if you are going to game with them then, then you have them painted and will get them used or leave them undercoated and never get beyond that.
To be honest I hate crossbelts, always have, no matter what scale :D
Even at 1:1 scale I hated whitening my crossbelts before a display :-[
They look darn good to me!
Thanks, here's the 2nd batch, 100 down, 1300 to go.
Finished the baseing to.

Looking pretty good. But please straighten the bayonets!!!!
You might also want to look at cropping the photos a bit.
Another suggestion - paint your base edges...it'll make a huge difference :)
I'd also give your mud a light drybrush with a sandy colour - just to 'lift' a bit & give greater definition 8)
What the Nikster said ^^ (as usual). Decent paintjob, though I wonder why you chose to have them all in the same pose? Is that because OG have little variety? I always try to buy the blighties in different poses, I dunno, it's totally a matter of taste of course. And I'll grant that if you have a mass of of soldiers on your table in all sorts of different poses, things start to look messy and undisciplined.
But who told you to put up that 20mm snake fencing, soldier? Gerrid of it! And smartly! 8)
Cheers,
Aart
Old glory line troops come on strips of the same pose (horse and musket periods anyway) as far as I know.
Yes 5 clones to a stip, they are realy big 6mm, and not 10mm
