I couldn't post this yesterday, so I'm trying again without the picture and no punctuation in the subject.
We played our first game (well 3 games actually) at the Tring Club on Friday. Not bad for almost 3 games in about 3 hours, we ran out of time on the last game due to unforeseen circumstances.
I really enjoyed the rules, even though I lost the first 2 games. A full write up and first thoughts on the rules are on the Tring Club blog http://tringwargames.blogspot.co.uk/
It worked this time!!! =D> :-h <:-P
So here's the picture, Ottoman Tartars about to get a right royal kicking from some very annoyed Winged Hussars!

All 3 games sound a lot of fun
They do sound fun
Thirded !
Cheers - Phil.
Thanks for posting this, Sunjester. I have the rules but have been too tied up to organize some troops so I can try them. The Battle Reports are very useful.
Good to read you enjoyed the games. The rules appear to reasonably straightforward and obviously games don't take too long. Plus, you clearly don't need a vast collection of figures to put a couple of forces on the table and get a game going. Good stuff! :-bd
Thank you all for the comments. I can see a lot of potential for these rules, mini campaigns, multi-player battles and scenarios. ;)
Thanks for the AAR. For those that are attending Salute this year, Michael Leck, the co-author of the rules, will be putting on a demo game throughout the day. The table is right by the entrance so should be easy to find, once the rush of visitors has gone...

That would almost be worth going to Salute for, almost but.......( I hate Salute, dreadful venue, horrible journey, never mind).
