Definitely the winner, and I've make a shrew puns in my time.
Well, at the cost of being called boring, I have played From Shako to Coalscuttle. They do give a good game in the later C19th, and also look like they would cope well with the opening pf WWI, as well as conflicts like the Balkans and RJW. I'm not sure that they would bring a great deal more to the party, and I'm more inclined to stick with BBB and FOB2 for the C19th. At some stage I will compare them with Contemptible Little Armies for a 1914 game. The basic mechanism seems to rely on the number of certain dice results, but it is some time since I played them so afraid I can't be more specific than that. The beta version I played was certainly in need of a good QRS.
