I used to dislike those giant crabs because they are difficult to fit in 40x20mm base. Once I painted and base them... I really like the model. Makes me happy to see them paint!

They actually posed themselves - I was shaking them in a small tin with the sand and thought, "Hey, that looks pretty cool!"  ;)

Don't forget they move sideways, so it's more Greater Than/Less Than, with the option to split the group and come at you from all angles  ;)

Very spiffy painting (and as Mr. Lemmy just suggested, edible looking). I assume you used successive color washes?  They look almost like they were airbrushed. A tutorial would be cool either way  :)
