On the 13th of this month I sent in an order using one of the e-mail addresses I'd been given because the 'Contact Us' button on the main website doesn't work (it still doesn't, at least not for me). I've not received any confirmation that the order has arrived or even an invoice!
Okay, guys, I know this is because I said that I wasn't impressed with the new Dargonmen figures, but hey I want to give you money!
I'm sure Leon will be in contact, 'as soon as', Steeleye. :)
Cheers - Phil
Steeleye, while you are waiting for Leon, can I advise that you check your PayPal side of things and make sure that the order has got past them.
I only mention this because two weeks ago I ordered from a different company who used PayPal as their payment client and things looked like they had gone through, but hadn't. I didn't get the usual confirmation e-mails back and then the company auto system e-mailed me to say that there was still stuff in my shopping basket.
I was so concerned that payment had gone through (twice) that I contacted the banks etc .... any the long and short of it all was an issue with the address that I had typed in - it was the correct address, but at variance with the way the post code reads it. The bank said that 95% of failed PayPal transactions are address based.
i am guessing that when you use the PayPal payment service as a GUEST, it does extra vetting and on the slightest anomaly it bins you out ..... though does not tell you!
Anyway, your issue might be quite different, but I thought it worth mentioning

Maybe PM Leon directly?
He obviously monitors/reads the forum quite extensively, but as he's stated that Pendraken are currently up to their eyes in stuff he's more likely to respond to a PM than a random forum post (on a Sunday)!

I try not to use Paypal...they're evil!
This keeps (well at least a couple of times) happening since the 'Contat Us' button went kerfluie on the main sight. Hopefully when the website gets re-vamped (does this mean that at one time it was 'vamped' grew fangs and started to bite people on the neck?) all these issues will be dealt with.
If I don't hear back by tomorrow I'll PM Leon.
I still think its because I said I didn't like the Dragonmen figures so now they're ignoring me!
I don't know if this is more, or less, work for Pendraken. But...
I just email (to this address) info@pendraken.co.uk telling them what I want and how I would like to pay for it.
In the past Leon has sent to me a PayPal request for the monies owed.
I paid through the PayPal email.
I also do this for show pre-orders. I don't know if this messes up the sales records, however, and somebody has to then fill out a website order form on my behalf - but it gets the job done for me (the customer) easier :-[
Normally I have no problem and I get a confirmation within one or two days of e-mailing in the order with an invoice close behind.
Apologies for the missing email, I'm afraid we've not received that at this end.
I'm not quite sure what's going on with your orders though, we've not had anyone else reporting problems with emails or the 'Contact Us' button, so there's a chance it could be a bug at your end instead? I'm not sure what browser you're on, but could there be a rogue or out of date plug-in somewhere? Or something in your email provider that doesn't like our email address? It's just a bit odd that this keeps happening for you?
I'll send a test email to you now and then if you reply to that with your order, hopefully it'll come through OK.

Really ! Funny I thought I'd mentioned it to you on two separate occasions within the last two months.

Maybe I should have put 'recently' then, as that was back in November wasn't it, when we were sorting out the order with FK? The webguy checked everything over at that time and we've had no other issues since then, we get messages every day through the Contact form without any problems.
Steeleye usually sends us his orders by regular email and that seems to be where the issue lies, so that's the curious bit.
I sent an order in today using the Contact Us button and have already had confirmation of my order from Leon, :), so it does work normally.
So it's not just me...
Got your e-mail yesterday and sent my order as a reply last night...now did it go through.
Had a thought, I'm going to send my order again but using my other e-mail account and using the 'Contact Us' button, lets see what happens.
Leon my concern is you're losing orders in lost emails through the contact box on the website. Might it be worth trying a membership test of the contact box, send a message and then post it here, that way you'll know if its working 100%. I'll send one now.

That one's come through fine, it got redirected to our Spam folder but we got it. And the reply to my email came through OK as well, so we've got your order.

We've not had yours come through unfortunately, again not sure of the problem. What email provider do you use, and what browser?
If other folks want to pop one through, we'll see if there's any issues. This is one of the joys of technology unfortunately, we've had hundreds of messages through the website over the past few months, so it works for probably 99% of people. Finding the cause of that 1% is the nightmare, it's like taking your car to the garage and saying 'It makes a funny noise, fix it' (or taking your dog to the vet and saying, 'He's not well, fix him!')
Beyond running a few tests it's a case of leave it for a bit and see if it gets better. It could be a fault in the Contact button itself, a customers browser causing a clash, a faulty internet connection that's not sending the message through, all sorts of stuff. I don't think that section of our website uses it, but out of date Java and Flash can cause all kinds of problems.
I get that it's annoying, but with a new website incoming, it's not worth paying for hours and hours of labour picking the code apart to find a fault that may not be there. We'll crack on and get this new site finished up asap.
Cool, I eagerly await your e-mail to tell me how much I owe you!
Yahoo; Chrome.

Steeleye was sending from a Yahoo account as well, so that could be something. I've had a quick search and we've not had many website Contact's through Yahoo accounts, so it's possible there's some clash there.
If you're getting a new site soon its not worth investigating it; can I suggest putting your email address right beside the contact box until the new site is up and running ...
er, like it is already :-[
Our BT email address goes through the Yahoo thingamabob.
I know I contacted Pendraken on a GMail email address the other day and it worked, so I'll email using the BT address (through the contact form).
I'm also using Google Chrome.
