Title: Drum workshop with Jeff Rich
Post by: Duke Speedy of Leighton on 10 January 2017, 01:17:17 PM
You know, from The Quo!  :o
An hour and a half, in front of the whole school, all the kids involved! Brilliant.
Thousands of pounds worth of kit! He was awesome! Kids all playing stuff.

Was not overly familiar with the group but here is a vid of Jeff Rich at a school:

The mass involment with instruments is near the end.
Anything that can keep a large group of grade and middle schoolers engaged for that long is to be encouraged!

Mr. Lemmy, thanks for continuing to extend my education.  :)

Sounds great fun, Will !

When I saw Quo, they still had their original drummer, John Coghlan (Not sure if I've quite got the spelling right.)

Cheers - Phil.

I saw him drumming with the mighty Quo in December at Newcastle..........unfortunately 2 days later Rick Parfit died so going from being on an absolute high at seeing Quo live for the first time to hearing that yet another of my Rock Heroes had gone to join the heavenly school of rock was a bit of a downer  :o :o
