Title: Hello from Sheffield
Post by: Elliesdad on 11 October 2010, 05:43:35 PM
Hiya,

I'm elliesdad & I'm currently banished onto the PC whilst Ellie watches "girly" stuff on TV...

Anyhow, Clibinarium's Late Romans are what made me finally take up the 10mm challenge.
The Romans look great. I can't wait until we have some Goths and assorted Germanics to face them.

'Bye for now,

Geoff.

Welcome Geoff

I'm Lindsey's husband and have the same problem with girly stuff - you're in good company!

Yep - I know the feeling too: as Tash & Daisy's dad & Karin's husband, I'm hopelessly outnumbered [Isaac's only 4 and does his best to provide fire-support...]

Welcome Geoff  :)

Hi Geoff, welcome to the Forum!  I've got two boys, so it's the missus who gets outnumbered in our house!

So how come I've got four sons and no daughters and still feel outnumbered by my wife?  ???

Good to have you on board Sah!

You're amongst friends being in the downtrodden minority that is fatherhood :) - but I wouldn't want to be anywhere else as my kids are what keeps me sane 8)

Three daughters (two all grown up) and a single son.

At the moment the grown ups are not intending to marry so I guess I have a few more years of reasonable spending power before I end up footing the bill for lavish weddings to men that will never be good enough for my girls no matter what cricket team they follow, pub they frequent, car they drive, job they have...
