As subject heading, but upright (marching/walking) rather than the current laying down figures.
Pretty please, in anticipation of the new edition of the Bliztkrieg Commander rules of course!
Cheers Paul

give that comrade a medal. oh, they did :D
Yes please, I'll have a pack or two.
I hate prone figures. :(
There is even a choice wheteher you depict it like these recent chaps from ukraine of carrying the weapon on the shouldet

Or rushing with both chaps carrying the weapon.

On the bright side you can paint them in nearly half the time.
Why do people object to prone?
If I were a grunt without obvious cover, hitting the deck would certainly be high on my list of priorities!
I agree, standing/walking ATR men, Russian, British, German, all of them. Prone figures are damn nuisance for skirmish basing. Kneeling would do.
Never used prone figures and never will.
They don't base properly, and look really out of place when the rest of the unit are "advancing".
Prone just don't look right, especially if mixed with standing figures. Unfortunately, so many support weapons are only offered in prone poses. They also tend to get lost in the base (and yes, I understand that that's probably what they're trying to do.)
There's also something about the sculpting ... perhaps Phil can comment on that.
Or you could have them like this?
May have mentioned this before, not anti prone figures but as noted above they don't work when the rest of the base consists of advancing poses IMHO.

Yes. That would be good. :D
This is what I want my squads to look like.

I usually find that when I make a prone figure, the initial attempt comes out 'too flat'....and I have to bulk the whole thing up a smidgeon.
One thing I don't really like about 'prones' is having to fill in under the rifle/machine gun.....but in most cases it's a necessity.
I can understand the problems about the basing.....But so many folk DO seem to require them.....
Cheers - Phil
I would personally prefer standing
Take care
