Thanks Leman! Much appreciated :) The cannon smoke is simply those polystyrene packing peanuts, scrunched up tightly and liberally covered with no more nails, add the end of a cocktail stick for the sticky-out bit from the barrel and roughly dry brush a dirty grey white... very quick and easy! ;D

Thank you Steve, I had some old Zvezda pine tree models, which I found almost impossible to stick together, so I cut down the trunks, scratched em up a bit, added some ground tea-leaves to the top for the soil filling and then quickly dry-brushed to finish, I don't think they came out too shabby, especially from a distance! ;D

Thank you Glorfindel :) There are a few little conversions and additions to things in there if you look closely, mostly head swaps and a bit of added Milliput!

Thank you Jasper :) I'm going to slowly add more units over the course of the next year, I'm trying to finish painting one batch before I buy the next, maybe that way I'll get something completed!!!!

Re. the miliput, I've just spotted the mounted duchess/princess/empress/queen in the command group.
Ah yes... the mysterious Comtesse de Rochechinard... Well spotted Sir! :D I used the mounted ADC, swapped the head with one of the artillery crew officers and built up the skirt with milliput, tried to get the appearance of her riding side-saddle which doesn't come across too clearly in the pics... Her paint scheme is based on the costume of Émilie Dequenne from the Brotherhood of the Wolf...

Nice idea!
Impresionante!!! :) :)
I put it down to the fez and the repetitive, spoon jar, jar spoon.

;) Leman... yeah... Jus' like that... ! :D
Seriously though, I think the miliput has modelled the countess riding side saddle extremely well.
Seconded :-bd =D> :-bd =D>
