Title: Basing 10mm ACW for Regimental Fire & Fury
Post by: Roy on 10 December 2016, 10:52:40 AM
For those who know these rules, please could you confirm whether what I've suggested in these two images will work.

I am using 10mm Pendraken miniatures. 4 figures to a 25mm (frontage) x 20mm (depth) base.

** That should read: "- So the one base shown is the equivalent of two RFF stands"

Thank you.

We mount 4 figures per base in 10mm in a single line. The key thing that comes to mind with the basing you are suggesting is that the extended line in the game is effectively double the normal line frontage, where with your suggested basing it would be a lot less. We find units in RFF very manoeuvrable but the double frontage for an extended line definitely affects deployment decisions. Saying that, if both sides are using the same basing and mechanisms it should work without conferring advantage to either side.
