Good report. Hope to play the SYW Honours of War version soon (will bear the 'divide and conquer' post game observation in mind). Plus, always find it intriguing to re-fight a battle using armies from a different era (albeit this is a fictitious battle). :)
We forgot that in BP, Napoleonic Line can move through woods, but must break into skirmish formation. Would have helped to have re-read the rules before the game, but ran out of time :-[. In HoW, infantry can move through woods, but at half pace IIRC.

I will be Interested to see the refight you mentioned using BBB. I am considering resurrected by 20mm Napoleonics and this scenario has forces equal to what I have. I have BBB but given the smaller forces I have, was considering getting Black Powder (I like Pike & Shotte). Your guess is that BBB will work - so I'll hold off 'till I see your next report.
