Poll
Question:
Is skiving off at shows acceptable
Option 1: No- Dave is a very naughty boy
votes: 5
Option 2: Yes Dave should have time to go and play games
votes: 14
Went to Warfare yesterday. Seemed quite a busy show. Good selection of traders . Some good demo games in the other hall.
Went and had a chat to the Dark lord and M'lady.
Now we know that a certain member of the Pendraken team has a predilection at shows for Disappearing off for a coffee and some "Networking" before manning the stand for 20 mins before he has to go and get "Dinner" followed by more coffee and "networking".
BUT
Yesterday the said person was NOWHERE IN SIGHT. He had apparently skived off to go and play a wargame :o :o
So votes please. If the vote is a no vote we will have another poll to decide on what "punishment he deserves" :d :d
P.S A "No" vote will be much more fun even if none of us actually believe it, as it gives us a chance to vote on his punishment.(Oh sorry did I try to nobble the Jury)
Nice to know that he's actually had time to play a game :)

Yes, that is true,
But you can't let reality get in the way of a bit of teasing Dave
Yes he should play games. But he should ensure Leon is kept in supply of bacon sandwiches
Cheers
Ian
Well! Firstly, I don't believe the Pendraken stand isn't mobbed at any show.
Secondly, Dave should only be allowed to play with Pendraken miniatures.
Thirdly, why should Pendraken devotees have to seek him out so they can "touch the hem of his cloak" as it were? He should be visible and available at all times.
:P
Prehapes your reputation precedes you, Orcs?
It could simply be an escape and evade. :D

HMMMMM !!!!! :-\
I hadn't thought of that. :)
But I had a shower a week last Tuesday and I was wearing my special T Shirt that says "10mm-Gods own scale" .
Die You wash the t-shirt when you showered? Otherwise there's no point in having the shower...

Before we can assess the second part we surely need to know which game he played
AND whether he won or not! For example, my daughter won the Rescue Doctor Who game and recieved a packet of Jelly Babies as a reward <:-P
Now, if Dave won said game and shared his loot then all's well,
however if he won the Jelly Babies and scoffed the lot quietly in a corner then surely hanging's too good =((
I would have. I love Jelly Babies (post-WWI they were originally called Peace Babies).
He was gaming a WWI Mons Nimy bridge scenario, playing as the Germans. I think he took about 200 casualties versus the Brit's 50 whilst successfully pushing them back, so he claimed that as a victory.
My theory is that he's just in the way on the stall, so Leon sent him off. I notice that there's been no reply from the man himself.
IanS ;)

10mm, of course!

You rounding up again?

I was giving extra responsibility to Leon. I think he's old enough now, I enjoyed the game and a :D :D few drinks
Dave
I was well looked after despite your bunking out Dave.
Dave,
Although one may respect your decision to abandon your co-workers to spend time in hedonistic pleasures ...
Straws ... camels ... chiropractors.
Just saying.
:P
Well the voting is complete. The result gave a boring but correct conclusion that Dave should go and play games. So we cannot now vote on a suitable punishment, but I am sure we will have other reasons to "rib" Dave in the future
Dave, slaving over a hot trade stand. :)

Has he glued his hand to his head again?
"I know Leon.A quick rendition of my famous hornpipe that I first performed at the Middlesbrough regatta will bring the punters to the stand"
