Title: 1877 Russo-Turkish War: Battles of Plevna
Post by: Rob Smith on 16 November 2016, 04:57:24 PM
Hey guys,

I thought you all might enjoy seeing the battles of Plevna that I built and hosted at a local convention. All the minis are Pendraken, with a few that have been modified. There might be an odd limber or cavalry trooper from another company. :)

Yep. it rolls up. The levels are all separate and can be disassembled and rolled up or stored flat, depending on their size.

Hey Rob.

I played the Russian left on the 3rd Battle of Plevna.  Really enjoyed the game and everything looked great.  Thank you for running a fun game!

Looks excellent :)

BTW I think the supervisor needs a matt as well, preferably one of the flatter battles to game on ;)

Hey, Rod. Thanks for the reminder. I'm glad you had a good time. We'll do another battle with the rules next year. Currently the plan is for Omdurman, but we may do Napoleonics instead. Who knows?

Thanks guys. It was a fun project. We'll use the board for many things in the future, I think. A lot of us have modern miniatures, so we may try team yankee soon, but in a smaller scale.  ;)

Really first class effort, good to see as much time going into the terrain as the figures.

Read all through, thoroughly enjoyable. Boards are great -nice and eye-catchingly colourful and the terrain is nice. Was impressed on how you made the vineyards, that is definitely an idea worth stealing borrowing. :)
