Just tried a game of the great war (plaed it solo, just to get a hang of the rules)
What a bloody affair!

By the end of the game, the germans were pushed into their right section of the board and suffered defeat.

Great game, but i want to mount the units on bases and use casualty markers. Still not sure though, they look good when posing along a trench line!
I find the minis annoyingly dark. I want to make them more visible, but a wash wouldn't work...
The tanks are damn big too (but fully to scale).
Well My aim was To Paint them when i bought It. And bae them up so i could use them for other games. So It doesn't bother Me :)
I didn't het the tanks though, but knowing Me i Will eventually ;D
Friends at MK have it, so often the assault is going left, but the orders only allow you move your right flank! ;D

I got the base game plus Tanks expansion along with the Kickstarter for Death or Glory (the Pellyploppykneesian War version of Quartermaster General ).
...and then of course I bought some Whippet tanks too... and some British field artillery...
Must actually play the game sometime...

A lighter shade of dry brush may make them more visible.

Yeah, I figured I'd try that - but I do prefer a wash to drybrushing if I'm just accentuating sculpts (I won't be fully painting them).
