Title: Hello from the Scottish Borders
Post by: ElefantEd on 14 March 2010, 08:20:17 PM
Home of the dastardly reivers, and me.  It is a bit of a wargaming dead zone though, so if there is anyone else in the area, shout!

I mainly play Hordes of the Things (my two boys like it, so I have two opponents anyway), including a Ratmen army starring Pendraken figs. Some of the lizardmen have also been pressed into service as The Race from Harry Turtledove's WorldWar books, and in the opposing ragtag human army are various tanks. Also have quite a few other figs which, ahem, are in the queue (which is basically stationary at the moment) to be painted.

Not very far at all....only about 5 miles in fact, between Duns and Berwick. Quite near lots of interesting castles and towers though, so plenty of inspiration for gaming - Smailholm Tower (http://www.historic-scotland.gov.uk/propertyresults/propertyoverview.htm?PropID=PL_246&PropName=Smailholm%20Tower) is a favourite.
