Thank you for posting, a beautiful reading. Pardon me for playing the wargamer button counter at such a solemn moment, but aren't those Russian infantry in the trench? The boots and smocks seem a bit of a giveaway. :-\

Yes, thanks for posting this Luddite.
the "normal" (at least in Western Europe etc) thought of picture of WW1 seems to be of men in trenches.
But trenches/fortifications sprang up on all fronts of the conflict and Binyon's verses are surely applicable to all who fought anywhere in WW1.
We will remember all of them.
