Title: Using Pendraken to build 1909-1930s Greek Evzones
Post by: KTravlos on 07 November 2016, 02:08:54 PM
Here is how I got 10mm Evzeons from Pendraken

I used as my base AU12 Austrian Grezner from the Autrian 1860 range.

I clipped off the shako and replaced it with a fareon (the greek fez). The I painted. Servisable. They could be used from 1897 t 1908 in blue, and from 1909-1922 in Greek Khaki, with extension to 1941 depending on painting and maybe sculpting a helmet.

Good plan, guess the kilts weren't often worn on active duties?

I have seen photos and illustrations with evzones wearing them under the khaki or blue dolama, and in white in the field (Balkan Wars).
