My Austrians have been badly outscouted, which is an unwelcome beginning, if reasonably accurate.
Prussians repulsed, but it wasn't easy. Lessons learned: 1) Massing cuirassiers on one flank is effective, but expect a hard fight on the other side! 2) Accept that there will be heavy losses in the firefight. Plan for this. 3) Columns in range of enemy artillery are a bad idea. 4) Remember that even Old Fritz lost more than a few battles.
Pictures to follow.
I assume you are talking about march columns, as there was very little fighting in columns in the SYW.
Certainly. But you can march much faster in column, and if you're in a hurry to get into action the temptation to do it in a crocodile formation (not a SYW term, outsiders!) is strong. Naturally you deploy into line for real fighting; these are soldiers, not the uniformed rabble of half a century later.
An action shot.
Fred's right wing.
More.
Tout les battailles.
Nice one
Really good that, FK. Wish I could put together two armies in record time.
With all those Croats and Pandours your recce should be the best, what went wrong, did they loot a monastic wine cellar ;D
They had those ridiculous lancers, and a lucky scouting roll.

Indeed. Well done. =D>
What's involved in unloading the now redundant, and rather larger, 6mm SYW armies? I'm an ebay virgin....
So am I, but I believe you have to submit photos of your armies before you can sell them. And of course eBay takes a commission.
Well, they'll just sit in my cupboard using up space otherwise.
Why not post the photos here (with Leon's permission), some of us (me) might be interested, alternatively PM me, not promising mind.
PM sent. Let me have your email; you are welcome to them at cost.
