Hello, I am now preparing a gift and I thought of recreating a confrontation between Greeks and Romans. Here are the initial moments of my work.
The first photo is the first painting and then with shading. Then I'll lights. Donde tengo un problema es en los escudos, no he podido realizar unas calcamonias adecuadas y tendré que pintarlos lo mejor posible.

Nice
Like them. I am very partial to your muted colours - I think they look better In 10mm. The only time I tried to use decals, made a total hash of it. Easier to dab paint on shields.
Very nice indeed
Take care
Andy
Looking good :D
Go for something impressionist on the shields ;)
It is perfectly possible to paint a blazon on a 10mm aspis. If my clumsy paws can do it, so can anyone's. And I am not renowned for humility.
I continue
finally I thought I'll do a drawing on the shields
Good plan.
Hello.

Those are very nice! I especially like the vibrancy of the colours used on the elephant.

Greeks en masse do look smashing.

When did Greeks use elephants?
Whenever they could get them!

I like those a lot but I don't think I'd have shaded them, the brighter colours would have made these small figures stand out, whereas shaded en masse they could look like an amorphous lump, only my humble opinion of course; in the end it's all to one's own taste.
Makes me kinda wish I'd gone 10mm for ancients rather than 1/72.
Nicely painted :-bd :-bd

Define "Greek".
Didn't your Mummy teach you to say "please"?
My wife and I just finished watching the second of the Mummy trilogy. Now I would like Aztecs AND pigmy mummies with blow guns!
The figures look excellent Jesus.
