Title: Hex Maven
Post by: d_Guy on 27 September 2016, 01:57:36 PM
For those who don't already know "just" Norm (whom, with great respect, I call the Hex Maven) has an excellent article in the October Issue of
Miniture Wargames. Even better he is restarting his blog (one of my favorites)

Well done, Norm!  :-bd

Thank you. It is the last issue of MW with Henry Hyde at the helm, so nice to get in that issue. The article in part is suggesting that the media obsession with 28mm on big tables is missing the reality of the way that many of us are gaming.

Also, yes, pleased to get the blog up and running again, it was not such a bright idea to close it really, just one of those heat of the moment things. I am hoping the the blog and the commanders website between them will make for a worthwhile read as I will use one to compliment the other, using the strengths of each to best advantage (rather than trying to make a website behave like a blog!).

I also got rather a nice e-mail today, my daughter has given me a 1 year subscription to a miniatures magazine. Never had one of them before, so am quite chuffed.
