Ditto the other thread, excellent work. Really shows what can be achieved in a reasonable amount of time.

Thanks Leon - and absolutely: that's what I wanted to try & show here: that if you use some simple techniques (& are happy to bypass the detailing that can make your eyes bleed) you can get decent-sized armies on the table in a fairly short time. In the case of these two armies, if I didn't have work, kids, a life etc & a whole 24 hours clear with nothing else to do they'd have been on-the table a day after unpacking them 8) :D 8)
24 hours? That's really fast! But do you also remove the mouldlines etc on your models? I do and for me that's the major reason it'll take me ages to finish an army.

Certainly do - have a look here Jase & it'll tell the story :)

As you'll see - from unpacking through prepping [trimming etc] to basing, texturing & undercoating took me 3 hrs...it also helps of course that Pendraken figures don't have many troublesome flash / mouldlines to worry about really.
I should say that I do work fast though - and with a stupidly sharp scalpel, so the odd mouldline etc might get missed - but in 10mm at arm's length on a table, I'm not going to notice. And if anyone cares to notice for me, I'll revise their opinion with my pointy-stick 8)
Well done Nik. Now about those Jacobites and Brits .... 23 hours 59 minutes 59 seconds ....
