Title: carts and waggons
Post by: robert on 23 August 2016, 08:47:24 PM
Sharp Practice 2 has a generic support list which includes a water cart, ammo cart, engineers cart, paymasters cart - each oh which needs a cart horse.

A Mule train is also specified.

I have searched but cannot find any of these in any period in Pendraken ranges - are there any?

Warbases have produced the carts in mdf (28mm) and I gather they are selling very well.....................

There are quite a few dotted around the various ranges - try searching on Wagon in the webstore, this brings up a fair few, but not too many with pictures.

I have a photo somewhere of several of them, which I will try to find (its on the forum), and I think Leman has a good photo of various bits and pieces too.

Have a look in the late Medieval, ECW, Boer War and ACW ranges. Don't have any pics, but I have used wagons from all these ranges for various projects

A Mule train is also specified.

There are also AC21 Pack Mules in the Fantasy Range and NW11 & 12: Pack mule team with mountain gun and maxim gun respectively.

Cheers!

That tumbrel cart is in the ECW range. Mind you, whilst looking for it I came across the George Washington statue, in the AWI Miscellaneous range, which I think has possibilities in C19th and C20th Europe as well (in 10mm he could be any bewigged aristo).

Coincidence! I was thinking about suitable carts/wagons for ECW. Thanks for sharing.  :-bd

Is there a specific horse for the supply carts?

All the wagons I have bought, have come with horses to pull them.

These seem to be specific draught horses, with head collars etc, I think it could be the same horse model for all the wagons.

Ok, I was looking at the tumbrel cart which doesn't show any horses with it so not sure if that's just the cart

I can't recall if these come with horses or not. I assume so as I don't think there is a separate code for the horses alone.

It's three carts with horses for that code.

Cheers,
