Some of us have been playing quite a bit of Soldiers of God recently at the Tring Wargames Club and we had the bright idea :O) :-\ of using the rules for the Mongol Invasion of Russia. After all, all the troop types we needed were represented within the rules so it was just a case of putting army lists together.

Good to read a report of Mongols in action. Nice looking chaps as well.

For a minute there I thought this was going to be Mongols with wings. Well, you never can tell with the fantasy brigade.
They did use Hospitallers on at least one occasion.
