How to build a modular fort with some bits of MDF and some magnets.

Smart thinking. =D> =D> =D>
Nice idea Jim, nice looking fort too.
I may have to consider filching this idea for my 6mm Sumerian city.
I'm finding that the problem with a modular city is that there is an almost infinite number of modules one can produce ... and I appear to be heading for one of each. =)
The beautiful models of biblical period buildings Leven are about to produce won't help with that! What ancient city doesn't need a baker, armourer, dockside workshop ..... stop me now!! :)

Attach a monkey and a typewriter to each of your infinite modules and you could have some Shakespeare written while you are at it.
Alas I only have one monkey and he's typing here :D
Great lateral thinking, Jim.
I like the idea, Jim. You might say I'm attracted to it.
Great idea. I'm just wondering if those magnets would be strong enough to put them inside the wall/tower? That way you could put them just about everywhere without them showing up as shiny dots.
Good stuff !! =D>

Good thinking, Jim. Also provides scope for replacing wall sections with one or two ruined sections to denote a breach in siege games.
Or is that sieve games?

The magnets I use are 5mm by 2mm and are certainly strong enough to have attraction through two layers oh 2mm MDF. My original tests did it that way.
It is also possible to get magnets of a bigger size and therefore of a stronger pull if you have something more extreme in mind.
The shiny dots are never visible when the fort is constructed. Endwalls are always placed against another endwall.

That's on my phase two list already.
Good job!
I made my fortress myself without magnets, and it does shuffle out of place often!
