Title: 'Orange' emails.
Post by: Techno on 05 August 2016, 06:35:47 AM
Anyone else on Freeserve/Orange/EE been having problems with emails ?

I only found out yesterday, because Nobby messaged me through the forum to say he'd had an email to yours truly returned as 'undeliverable'.
When I called Leon, I found out that he had the same problem, with one mail...and two others simply didn't arrive here. (I'd just put that down to Sir being even busier than usual...Especially with Claymore approaching.)

Also had a 'report' from the forum that took nearly 24 hours to arrive.

Investigating via Google, it appears I'm not the only one, by a long chalk.

Cheers - Phil

Have to admit, I wouldn't have known, if Nobby hadn't mentioned it, Andy.

For the second time in a few days......T'internet went completely awol for a number of hours.
Only just come back.

Wonder if that means I've got yet more incoming mails floating around in the electronic ether....and if they'll ever turn up !!  ~X( ~X( ~X(

Yes, the internet was a bit flaky yesterday and I'm not an Orange user.

No internet connection again, from early afternoon yesterday and throughout the evening/ early morning.

The 'router/brightbox' (?) had a distinct lack of pretty lights flashing, when I first switched on this morning.....They're there now....
Took much longer for them to get going than normal, though.

I trust 'they've' fixed things over here, now.

Jim's comment was interesting.....And a couple of folk I was speaking to yesterday were also having problems. (They were in England, rather than Wales.)....Hmmmm.  :-\

Hope it keeps working today !

Cheers

Hmmmmm.  :-\

The forum appears to have been 'over-quiet' for a good while yesterday.....Were others struggling with connections to the electronic ether ?

No noticeable problems here, and I'm in a bad connection area.

Someone may have dug up a vital box somewhere ?

And yes Phil it's a conspiracy aimed at YOU.
