My money is on that! Those Macedonians would be like 9ft, 300 lbs giants with a two yard stride and a pike reach near the range of a dragoon's carbine. Heck, their shields alone might even deflect some of the shot. I say the Saxons fire, assess the minimal damage and then run like hell!
