Title: Ancient Chinese

New 10mm range on the table from Newline (and it's the summer sale). Also Ch'in and Han from Reiver castings. I'm guessing this is of some interest to other ancients players who are chafing at the lack of Pendraken figures in this line.

I'm sure that when Leon's got an unlimited budget, and access to around 10 times the number of designers currently available....... =)

Hello FK

Seeing that Pendraken Asian armies are not imminent, how are the Newline figures in terms of detail and compatibility? I was thinking of getting some for a semi-hysterical Chinese army but Newline doesn't have pics. Also how are the new Reiver figures?

Cheers

I don't know yet, but Mark has volunteered to send me some samples. Shall report.

I've got most of the figures now; size-compatible, but be warned that the Reiver halberds have very flimsy shafts. I forsee a lot of patient reconstruction before I even undercoat them.

Thanks for the note on size, etc. Disappointing for you on the halberds, but it does show everyone how spoilt we are by Pendraken in terms of sculpting, metals and casting :).
