My 82 year old father-in-law (well partners Dad) is playing the organ in church for a special memorial service the 100th anniversary since the battle of the Somme. I believe these are going on all around the country. He is still quite ok with playing the organ, in fact I think that's what keeps him alert. So no problems with that.
However the music for leaving at the end of the service is "The March of The Thunderbirds" by Barry Gray. He is not supposed to play this as its an orchestral piece, but he needed a copy to play on the church CD player at the appropriate time.
I had a copy of the original soundtrack on my computer!! :-\
I thought everyone (of a suitably advanced age) had a copy tucked away, I certainly do :) and perhaps the new marching band figs were inspired by the tune? https://youtu.be/35qSCZCw8Yg (https://youtu.be/35qSCZCw8Yg)
