1 )   "Cry "Havoc!" and let slip the dogs of war."  Source? - Marc Anthony, on hearing Pitbull's latest composition?

3 )   Which AFV was named after a breed of dog? - Boxer (http://www.revolvy.com/main/index.php?s=Boxer%20(armoured%20fighting%20vehicle)&item_type=topic&nojs=1)

10)  What sadist in popular fantasy appears to have just been executed with the aid of his own dogs after a defeat? - Too much to hope this is Osborne I suppose

I've skipped my 'pass' answers

1. Shakespeare - That's all I do know. I guessed Henry V, but looking at the other answers given I reckon I'm wrong
2. Native Americans - I'm unable to give a more specific answer, so I'd call that a fail.
3. FV430 Mk3 Bulldog
4. Trained using Soviet tanks, so would always run towards the familiar and not the Axis tanks - again, specifics...
9. Rupert of the Rhine's pet dog - and that's just a guess from watching the film Cromwell and seeing Timothy Dalton holding a poodle

OK, how good are people at military dogs?

1 )   "Cry "Havoc!" and let slip the dogs of war."  Source?   Mark Antony over the corpse of Caesar, fortelling the coming civil wars. (Before the funeral)
2 )   "Dog soldiers" in America - who were they?   Cheyenne resistance group from 1830s.
3 )   Which AFV was named after a breed of dog?   I was thinking of the greyhound, but as has been pointed out, there are others.
4 )   What is the usual reason given why Russian AT dogs were a failure in WWII?   Diesel tanks in training, petrol in reality.
5 )   Which first-class general modeled by Pendraken was utterly devoted to his dogs?   Frederick the Great. He was crazy about his greyhounds.
6 )   How does a dog on Salisbury plain force a fictional English politician to give up a planned defence reform?   See Yes, Prime Minister. Hacker OKs a rescue operation for a dog in a minefield without looking at the cost, then can't risk having it revealed in reaction to economy measures.
