With an updated Top 10 Requests list, it's probably worth updating the 'What We're Working On' list as well.
What We're Working On - June 2016
Squishy
1. WWI Middle East - Revamp to replace some of the current codes, plus an expansion to tick off some requests.
2. 1860 Italians - A full range revamp including some extra items.
Phil (Techno)
1. Warband - Just a few more ranges to be done for this, and then all of the Warband ranges are online.
2. Moderns - This will be a large project taking in everything from the end of WWII through to the end of the Cold War. As you might guess, it'll take some time to get all of that done.
3. Ancients - In amongst the modern ranges, we're still wanting to expand/revamp our Ancients ranges, so we'll be fitting these in as and where possible.
Mart678
1. Vehicles - A long, long list of new vehicles to both expand our WWII ranges and add to our impending Modern ranges.

Real ancients, or a WRG-style interpretation extending to about 1700?
I may need to discuss this with my bank manager.
Truly it is written that the Dark Lord reveals little to his acolytes until a time of His choosing. It is said by His masses "that Dark Lord, he's a bit of a tease".
"Everything from the end of WWII to the end of the Cold War". There's a lot of ground.
"Expand ... our Ancients range." There's a whole lot more.
Are you going to give us, the Zika viruses in the Pendraken Olympic athlete, a little more? Be a good Burlesque act and pop a few more balloons to let us see what's really going on.

The plan a couple of years back was to revamp and expand the whole Ancients period, starting with the Repub. Romans and Carthaginians. We got the Spanish done as well, then the Romans/Gauls which will be available before the end of the month.
The plan then was to head back and re-do the Greeks/Persian ranges, but we got a bit sidetracked with the Warband ranges, which had to be done to support the rules. Similarly, with us now owning the various Commander rulesets, we need to get some ranges in place to support them, hence Techno heading to post-1945 next. We are committed to redoing the Ancients though, so I want to fit them in as and where we can.

We'll be coming to the Forum for some input on this. Firstly there's the armies that are listed in the Cold War Commander rules, but we also want to expand a little beyond that where possible. So we'll be putting together a list of all the possible ranges we could do, and throwing it open to a public poll on which folks want to see first.

No.......no...no !
What I'm doing next, is an FK dolly...So I can stick pins in it....Or cut bits off.*
The one I made of Nobby has worked really well, so far. :P

Sorry to hear that, I'll make sure to put something spiky in his order when they're released...
AAAARGH !
I just went to solder the little 'thing' again (4th time) .....and THIS TIME the 'arm armature' fell out of the model.
I think I'd better give up for today...I'm going to take the dogs for a walk around the fields. X_X ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Tomorrow's another day.
I love my job....But sometimes........... :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
Cheers - Phil
So are you mad because it on't work, or because you didn't cut yourself while doing it? :-\
Yes whatever the job, we all have those days nothing seems to work.
I call them 'weekdays'
Hi Peter.
I'm mad, because I was so close to finishing off the little swine....and now, I seem to have taken two steps backwards. :'(
Definitely........ Dog walking time. ;)
Cheers - Phil.
Thank you. That's whetted the appetite a lot. Looking forward to some revamped Greeks.
Any chariots planned?
That's (http://britishbattles.homestead.com/files/africa/egypt_and_sudan/TRANS_egyptian_chariot_of_the_line.gif) not (http://www.underwatertrust.org.uk/wp-content/gallery/chariot-mark-i/mark_i_chariot_cutout.jpg) or (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/34/Merkava4m-Windbreaker-0036a.jpg)

Ghu dang nabbit, I just got the current army pack!
Although given you nicely replaced half the infantry with the very nice 1859 ones, I can't complain too much ;)

As it happens, you're not the sculptor. Ever know a cat turn on the cute where he had nothing to gain?

I'm just going out to the pole barn.....For the fifth time....To try and solder this wretched 'sword' to the model. (Why THIS one is being
such a pain in the bottom, I just cannot understand.)
Like I say.....I'm going outside.....and may be some time. X_X
Cheers - Phil
For God's sake, look after our armies.
I dropped the sword on the workbench...... >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(
Back indoors......To collect some more brass rod.
Back outside for the SIXTH time to hammer the rod into flats.
Back inside to use the Dremel, to shape the %$£%ing thing. (I made two, in case I lost another)
Back outside for the SEVENTH time......And solder the sword in place.
Ah, an atheist will be praying for you in his heart this evening!

Cheers - Mr Grumpy.
Save it for the remake of the Waffy SS figures.

All of them, 8 are already done and have been released, so we're just working on the remaining 4.
Dark Elves - All done and here with us, just waiting to be production moulded.
Dragonmen - 90% complete and here at Pendraken HQ. We just need to send Phil the new Knight dollies to finish up the mounted Knights.
Eldritch Vampires - With Phil at the moment and being worked on.
Samurai Apes - Last army to be done, will be started once the Eldritch are done.
Here's a sneaky shot of the new Dragons as well, we're really happy with these:

They're not on my list, Forbes.....But I do have a bag of Samurai
Apes, sitting behind me, to work on, once I've finished the Eldritch Vampires. ;)
Anyone want to guess what I used to make the thin metal 'formers' for all the dragon wings....(Those shown... and also the 'littler ones' for the accessories range)....
No clues. (Hic - cheersh.)
You won't be able to see it....But there's a stylized dragon's head on the shields.
Cheers - Phil
Apes, not Elves.
Has Leon been at the foil covered bottles not you?
Milk that would be, I'm sure.

:P
A nude woman with a lance on a dragon would look good. :)
A woman in plate armour armed with a bow would be more sensible.
Dragons are supposed to be naturally well-armoured, makes sense to have the rider equally well protected.
A missile weapon makes far more sense than a lance if you are perched on the back of a flying creature.
Better still, carry a bag full of bombs.
If we're talking dragons, I think we've moved out of the realm of common sense, n'est ce pas? But perhaps we can compromise and have a nude woman in plate armour.
I just make what I'm told to. :P
(Mostly ;)......Sometimes I go off on a tangent... ;D ;D ;D ;D)
Cheers - Phil
Sometimes I go off on a tandem.
Dagnammit - now I want Samurai Elves and I didn't even know it.
Seconded, Nik! Or perhaps Korean Elves to fight the Samurai Apes...
Actually, would the Mongols not do. Paint them in a pale flesh, scatter a few barbaric looking actual Elvish types in, job done ;)
Can always claim Aztecs are elves; pointy ears under the feathers and strange suits.

Thanks! I really thought I had searched the forums years ago and couldn't find anything and I supposed someone would have helpful links.
Have to say I find the Search function here bizarre in the extreme. There are times I'm convinced it would find things faster if I searched for a completely random word rather than the word I know for sure was in a post. =) =) =) =)

The trick is to only search from the highest level - ie from Pendraken Miniatures Forum - *not* from within a sub-board or thread (because that will search in there...) :)
I have searched a sub-board for a word that was in the thread when I eventually found it and it didn't return a match. I stand by my assertion that search here is weird!

Rarely works for me, either. :-\
Fair enough - I never seem to have problems when searching from the top level though - even on threads which are back in the dawn of time!
Or it could be I'm looking for things that ain't there! :-[
