We've had many requests over the years for a few ECW additions, so with a small gap in the sculpting schedule before we move onto another larger project, we got one of the sculptors to knock up some civilians, engineers and a new general!
Civilians (including an oft-requested preacher figure):

Engineers, with a barrow:

General, to replace the older EC13 sculpt:

These won't take much moulding time, so we'll probably have them done ready for release around August time hopefully.

Those are truly great!
Love the preacher, could he be made available individually?
Ooh, they are very nice.
I had been looking for a Preacher figure.
And the engineer chaps are cool too.
And the others.
Superb,
just what my baggage camps need
Love that Preacher 8)
Perfect for my (stalled) The Pikemen's Lament forces 8). Oh and the Preacher is great.
Damn, I'll have to get some of these!
Won't you also do a bare-headed figure respectfully holding his hat while being preached at?
You're getting as bad as me and the LoA range!
I like those !
Very useful additions.
Cheers - Phil
They are rather tasty little chaps and chapesses.

What is the larger project? Not that I am interested!😜
Very nice indeed. I can already visualise them being converted into off-duty landsknechts for a FOGR camp.
They look nice, can't wait to see some painted up in all their glory :D
They do, indeed, look splendid!

Fantastic looking figures :-bd
...and, at last, a home for the Puritan Preacher! :D

He'd look great lecturing the couple on the bench about sins of the flesh... :d
Or discussing the best way to interpret scripture with the next guy along... :-B O:-)
Cheers!

These are just fantastic Leon, will definitely be having some of them.
A CoE priest being horrified by a group of Diggers would be cool.
Also, how about a sturdy nun with a half pike (a'la Cruikshank or Gillray) which could cover a several hundred year period?
Finally, since my imagination is running wild, a Non-Conformist preacher, bare headed, with a Bible in one hand and a pitchfork, or lightning bolt, or whatever else you might deem appropriate, in the other. Having him placed with one foot on the Book of Common Prayer would also be a nice touch.
I don't see a top hat on my ECW battlefield, I'm afraid.

Absolutely not, church parade and bible study group only! <)

I nearly spat my coffee out in laughing, there :)

Get in touch if you stop over in Bangkok....
Ooh, shiny! I can find a home for some of these.

Yes. In the Gimmy-Moore scale of addiction, Pendraken figures come somewhere above salted peanuts and just below Game of Thrones.
Penny Dreadful is far better than GoT. IMFFHO.
Saw a couple of episodes of Penny Dreadful at a friend's house.
I thought the Dreadful part of the title was apt. YANTITA*, as a friend of mine would remind me, I guess.
Didn't much like the GoT books but love the TV series - go figure :)

Like I care, give me plot, characters and dialogue I care about. If I notice the composition of the shot the Art Director should be fired.
Do you in fact distinguish between a movie and a novel? Just asking.

Art direction is infinitely superior in novels :)

So is the acting! Even the worst lines are given with style and grace. :)
Nice additions to the range ;)
It would be good if the preacher were available singly. Excellent Agitator marker for Baroque :)

Exactly my thinking ;)
Nosher and Tarty - I second the idea of using with Baroque. Have been considering using the woman in the SYW civilian set who is carrying two buckets on a shoulder yoke for use as a unit disorganization marker. Now need to figure out a reacted marker.
Rather enjoying the Preacher on Amazon Prime.
Any news on these? My Parliamentarians wont come out of their box unless coaxed by an Agitator :)

...as the bishop said to the actress... :> O:-)
They should be going into a master mould next week and then I can get started on prepping production moulds. I'd like to get them released before the end of this month.
Is there any likelihood of producing some more ECW gun crew and packaging them like the LoA range? The latter has excellent variety whereas the ECW packs only have two poses plus a repeat of the infantry officer.
Sorry, Nigel....Can't answer your question, but as that was your first post.......
Welcome to the forum.
Cheers - Phil
The woman on the bench ... it looks as if she's ... well ... maybe its the light, I'll get a magnifier ... no she's definitely ... Leon really !!!
:o :o :o :o :o :o

It's not something we've got on the schedule at the moment, but I would like to revamp a couple more of the ECW codes over the coming years. Better gun crews might be something we can sneak in at the same time.
Welcome to the Forum as well!
I'd second Nigel's request as I was planning a 28mm Drogheda seige diorama as a gift for my grandfather.
Now that I'm back on 10mm the added variety would be great.
Glad to hear it might happen in the future :)

Leon,
Which other ECW codes did you have in mind for potential revision? Scottish frame guns would be useful, possibly some more figures suitable for clubmen and more infantry in Monmouth caps would always be welcome.
There's a couple of the codes which could do with a bit of attention. New sculpts for the dismounted dragoons in code EC4, and for the peasants in EC8. New artillery crews as requested above would be nice, for both English and Scottish.
Hello
I see you have EC27 Dismounted dragoons, morion - do you have mounted dragoons morion in mind? Or are they old type figures? (Photo from AndyMac)

Incidentally all the pictures from Great Hall Minis seem to have gone west eg http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=9775.0 the photos of EC27 and EC28 are missing.

Those are the old EC12 figures, so any new dismounted dragoons would likely match the newer mounted sculpts.
On the missing photos, I noticed that recently when someone was asking for some images of those codes. I need to get some proper photos done for the website really, I'll try and get that done.
Thinking of sieges, are there any suitable guns on ship or garrison carriages that could be used for C17th or C18th?
Try the SYW range.
Thanks, I'd missed the ones in the SYB range. Do you know if there are any photos of SYB20 or 21 about?
I've never actually seen them and unfortunately don't own any as all my stuff is field artillery,
I've managed to find a picture here http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,322.0.html in a discussion on pirates, which look just the thing.
Excellent! They do look good.

My Parliamentarians have gone into winter quarters awaiting Agitators.
Not to worry, loads of napoleonics still to do over the winter ;)
Coincidentally I've just finished blackwashing these ready for release tonight, so your parliamentarians can soon come out of hiding...!
