Title: 19th Century Warfare and War-gaming Facebook Group Update June-July 2016
Post by: KTravlos on 25 May 2016, 09:13:13 PM
The June-July Theme for the 19th Century Warfare and War-gaming Facebook Group is going to be the Russo-Japanese War of 1904-1905. The previous theme was the Hungarian Revolt of 1848-1849. There will not be a collected pdf with the posts for that one, as I did not do it. There will be one for the Russo-Japanese War of 1904-1905

With Respect

No, no, no, no no. No!

I have enough on my plate without you causally tossing in the Russo-Japanese war. Do not get me interested in another period!

By the way, if one were to game the Russo-Japanese war, which codes would you use from the Pendraken range?

AHahaha

On figures

Pendraken does have a dedicated range for the RJW. For some variety I guess one could add various Russian codes from WW1, or the Furshaka wearing Russian infantry from 1877. For the Japanese I believe there was a uniform change early in the war from the 1895 style uniform to the new khaki. You could justify having a mix for a representative army.
