On a blog the other day I noted that one gamer was using Skytrex 1/200 vehicles with Adler WW2 infantry.
Skytrex vehicles are still on the market and the range still has the poorly sculpted infantry, so I can see why he would seek another range - but Adler, even at the 1/285 end of 6mm would seem a little small ?
Or are Adler such a butch style of sculpt (ie big Dixon style heads) and exaggerated features that they work with 1/200 ?
Adler are nearer 8mm, and very fragile.

As far as I remember Adler were made to fit in witn GHQ and CinC when their infantry ranges were so poor
Adler are 6mm and not fragile
I have loads of them - and maybe a 1:1000 breakage out of the pack.
I'd suggest they are the wrong size for 10mm armour - although if basing the infantry and not the vehicles it might 'look' right
But they are definitely made to match GHQ stuff as you can see here:

I bought some of their Celts when doing my Gaulish army. I really regretted wasting my money; had to replace every weapon.
Snappy little army then.
Many thanks for this. If they weigh at a total height of 8mm then they are in the frame for the old Skytrex 1/200 which is the smaller end of what we loosely call "10mm". Anything around 8/9mm would in theory work with 1/200, same as we use n gauge and 1/144 aircraft. I appreciate the images Zippee - outstanding paint work :-bd
The Madaxeman - who stalks this very forum, does an excellent comparison chart.
Skytrex 1/200 was one of the first on the market. It is dwarfed by contemporary Pendraken 1/150 .
The vehicles and AFVs were crisp with loads of detail, but their figures let them down, so I am not surprised that some wargamers are still casting around (no pun intended) for alternative figures to go with a fine range of vehicles which are still available at a starting price of £1.50.
Actually, if I could find one man standing, Mainforce miniatures look like they might be the tallest in the 6mm world - but beware of kneeling giants !
