I will not all it the greatest TV around, but I like Turn, and looking forward to the new season. Good first episode.

...and '
Turn' is?
I'm presuming it's this Jim:

Damn rebels ;)
Thanks Mike, I can ignore it then.
Watched a fair bit of the first series but didn't really enjoy it so packed it in. Seemed like another version of German occupied France in fancy dress.

Thanks for the heads up, Konstantinos. I didn't know it had re-started. I began watching 'Turn' after a holiday in New England a couple of years ago visiting Concord, Lexington, Boston, Newport and reading a lot of AWI books at the time. Whilst I agree it is not the best TV, if you've read anything about the spy war during the AWI (and like a bit of 18th Century drama), it thought it was quite good nevertheless. Have also recently started watching the second season of 'Outlander' plus I recently purchased 'Honours of War,' (damn you, Leman) so, for me, this is good news.
Not so for my wife, however - she's like these three 'auld yins' (old ones). Bah humbug, you lot - you sound like my non-wargaming pals (mind you, being mainly a 'historical' wargamer, I suppose if it was a 'Fantasy' TV programme I may be equally dismissive). :P
Got me thinking there Westie; wonder if there's a decent German TV drama series on Frederick the Great or the SYW lurking on You Tube.
