Got my copy of Glory Hallelujah! Published by Warlord Games. Nicely produced and just a nice thing to own. Some initial observations

Thanks for these Norm :)
Nice review Norm
That is a useful review, as I play ACW in 15mm and 6mm and a mate has started to build up 28s. so all in all very useful. I think there could be some mileage in this as I am a little bit disenchanted with the F&F rules at the moment (it's having units of up to 16 bases to shift about which is leading to very long games).
Andy, there's some good BBB scenarios for ACW on the Yahoo! Group (if you can get into it), might be worth a bash with those as well?
Mine arrived yesterday :D
Just need my initial order of 10mm chaps to arrive and I'm good to go! :D
Cheers Toxic - I've had some great games with my 15s doing BBB Shiloh, Champion Hill and Bull Run. I was thinking about smaller actions. Some time ago I mentioned how the RF&F Little Round Top scenario took 12 hours to get half way through. By the end of that time we were all cheesed off with it. Bull Run, using BBB, took 3 hours and was highly enjoyable. Before Honours of War appeared on the scene I was doing most of my SYW gaming using Black Powder and it gave us some good games, so, as I say, I'd like to give BP a go for some regimental (Battalion) level ACW games.
Oh bum, it might even have been your mentioning of it that made me think about it :D
