What is the problem with the artillery specifically produced for this war?

The issue is that the Danes only have coastal artillery and heavy mortars, which is fine for the Dannevirke or Dybbøl but there should still be field artillery. My thoughts were if the Danes can use a new casting why not the Prussians?

Apologies, I was looking at the 1848 range. Union artillery might work for the Danes in 1864.
