If Leon and Dave don't mind this
My friend and I recently lost another very good wargaming friend to a very aggressive form of Motor Neurone disease :(.
It is the wish of his wife and family that his wargaming collection is sold off and the money raised should go to an MND charity.
Some people here may know John as he was a big fan of ancients and medieval games, he took part in tournaments as well. He was a fully qualified Chartered Accountant and in later life taught English abroad. He was a very intelligent man and sharp as a tack, spoke several languages and very witty to boot.
There are books [some rare and old wargaming books], rules, 10mm figures and vehicles, 15mm figures and vehicles, 15mm ancients and medieval's, 10mm Epic fantasy still with the boxes, 1/300 Modern, 1/600 modern. Some of the stuff is new which sadly he never got to use.
There will be more stuff to add to the lists in the coming weeks as we sort through more of it. A list of the stuff is available and any more info or photos can be provided upon request. Nearly all the collection is painted and based.
feel free to post this on other forums if you wish to or pass the lists around.

Very best of luck with that, Smokie.
My dear Sister has been suffering from that (and going downhill) for the past couple of years.....Absolutely vile disease. :(
Somehow she keeps cheerful, though she can't do a single thing for herself anymore....Or even talk.
Cheers - Phil

I did this for my deceased chum.
I took 14 carloads of stuff out of his house, finished it all off and sold most of it. It took over two years. I raised about £10,000.
My wargames room looked like this:

A good cause in the end.
And well done you, Jim !! =D> =D> =D>
