Hello All
I came across this narrative published in 1919 about the exploits of Graf Felix von Luckner, a rollicking, swashbuckling character out of WW1 - http://digital.slv.vic.gov.au/view/action/singleViewer.do?dvs=1457480000298~518&locale=en_US&metadata_object_ratio=10&show_metadata=true&VIEWER_URL=/view/action/singleViewer.do?&preferred_usage_type=VIEW_MAIN&DELIVERY_RULE_ID=10&frameId=1&usePid1=true&usePid2=true (http://digital.slv.vic.gov.au/view/action/singleViewer.do?dvs=1457480000298~518&locale=en_US&metadata_object_ratio=10&show_metadata=true&VIEWER_URL=/view/action/singleViewer.do?&preferred_usage_type=VIEW_MAIN&DELIVERY_RULE_ID=10&frameId=1&usePid1=true&usePid2=true) this downloads a 20M pdf.
His ship was a 2000 ton fully rigged with two guns. His adventures should be particularly interesting for our Kiwi members, but make for absorbing reading nevertheless.
Edit - I've found a follow up paper dealing with his visit back to the South Pacific in 1938 http://www.nzjh.auckland.ac.nz/docs/2001/NZJH_35_2_05.pdf (http://www.nzjh.auckland.ac.nz/docs/2001/NZJH_35_2_05.pdf)
Cheers

Definitely well know here, I'll have a read later :)
Looks very interesting. Thanks for posting this. I've heard of and read about the Emden, but not Von Luckner and the Seeadler. I'll try and read it later, too.
