Hullo,
Inspired by the recent discussion on bent spears I made a short video about the way I make wire spears for my figs. Apologies for my accent and for the fiddly method I demonstrate.

Good demonstration, Aksu - thanks! Also a nice presentation of the LoA pikemen.

Short, succinct and literally to the point; nice one!
Really good stuff Aksu. :-bd
Your hammer and 'anvil' look far nicer than the ones I use. ;)

That's 'cos they ain't blood spattered :o
This is one of those sneaky videos. It looks easy when Aksu does it, but my efforts weren't quite so successful.

I can't believe it, you have perfected the technique and made barbed wire!
I just thought his slinky had broken

Apologies for my accent.
Accent? Accent? What accent? :-\ Nothing at all when compared to the teensie- weensie (curiously predicted as teenage Wednesday by my wonderful software!) bit of an accent picked up by Brigadier Sir Bernard Proudfoot-Smith when in Germany, as recorded in Blackadder goes Forth Episode 5! :D ;)

Yes, I feel your pain!
Thank you chaps for the feedback, much appreciated I'm sure.
I wonder what the next 30 second tip should be... How to make custom shade terrain paste by mixing textured acrylic paste and paint perhaps? Any ideas? How to use super glue as a first aid after unfortunate scalpel accidents might get us sued by grieving relatives, so that one is out, I'm afraid :)
Cheers,
Aksu
What accent? It's just a bit of pepper on the plain flavour of received English.

Perhaps it is the torture of hearing one's own voice that makes it very hard to listen to. Anyway after I moved back to the motherland five years ago my English has taken a turn for the Nordic, that's certain. For what it's worth I blame a steady diet of subtitled BBC and Thames TV when I was a bairn for my English.Listening to those while cocooned in a cloud of airfix polysterene cement fumes must have had an effect.
Cheers,
Aksu
I was horrified the first time I saw and heard myself recorded. I seemed horribly similar to someone I disliked.
