Bloody Venetians decided on turn three that the future of Italy did not lie with France. I'm now fighting for my life.

I think the bloody Venetians did that on quite a number of occasions in reality. Deserves a poke in the eye in my opinion.

Typically Venetian, surprised they didn't send you the bill for damages after! ;)

Since I was trying to raise the cash to pay the Emperor my ransom, they'd have had to wait anyway.
