I'm being lazy...
I guess at least a few people must have produced Thirty Years War armies using Pendraken ECW and TYW codes...
Has anyone made a list of the codes they used and their suitability? Or perhaps there's some existing discussion of this?
Richard
Don't know about codes, but there was a picture in the 2012 painting comp by nosher:

More recently, this chap lists some of the codes he used.

Some fantastic pictures and very helpful.
I'm also considering the Tercios rules with 3/4 or 2/3 sized bases. In fact, it was seeing them at Cavalier that rekindled my interest in TYW.
I do note, however, use of a lot of armoured pikemen. I haven't consulted my sources but I'm always sceptical when I see armies too well equipped!
I've been doing a LOT on the TYW for Field of Glory and soon Pike and Shotte.
I've used many of the ECW SKU's and there are unarmoured pikemen in the mix. I recommend the command blister, too to break up the pike blocks a little.
There are about three different styles of musketmen, too with different headgear. It's a neat range!
I would recommend EL6, too for some random swordsmen.

You were at Cavalier and never said hello!!! Dammit, I forgot to ask on here if anyone else apart from Bernie and I were going. Are you local to Kent? It's a great show and just the right size. Hopefully my review will be in MWBG will be published soon.
I'm in Tonbridge and was helping to run this game http://doctorphalanx.blogspot.co.uk/2016/02/chickamauga-for-beginners.html
That was my second Cavalier and I remember seeing that game. I'm just up the road in Maidstone, been here for nigh on three years but didn't even know there was a club in Tonbridge. Interesting blog by the way.
I lived in Tonbridge for years without knowing about it! You'd be welcome to pay us a visit. It's a very friendly club and we always make an effort to include people.
Although not by advertising its existence it would seem.
Yes, it could do more!
I don't speak officially for the club, but to be fair Cavalier is probably the most valuable opportunity for publicity and the club always puts on a participation game, winning best of show, I think, about a couple of years ago. They have posters, leaflets and chat to visitors, as well as having a website.

But none of that guarantees you impinge on the public consciousness.
Most of the TYW was fought in Germany? The code is 0049.
TECHNO! Coat! NOW! please.
