Does anyone have a copy of George Gush's WRG Wargames Rules For Sixteenth and early Seventeenth Centuries that I could have in exchange for cash, figures or if your truely desperate my body :-& :-&.
I need to explain what looks like an act of sheer madness. I am very interested in the Italian Wars, and have looked at lots of sets of rules. DBR, Warmaster Medieval, Maxamillian, Impetus, etc Etc. but cannot find a set I like. I have just spent £20 odd quid on FOG Rennaissance and they are so involved that they make Gush look like DBA.
With that in mind I have decided I will write my own by simplifying Gush.
If you have one I can have please contact me by PM.
Think they might be downloadable, but no idea where...
Today is your lucky day - I have 3 copies!!! :o :o :o
PM me your address and I'll post them to you

Try Phil Bakers web page, it is almost certainly accessible via "freewargamesrules.co.uk"

Have you had a look at Warfare in the Age of Discovery. Same basing as FOGR but much less involved. If you do use it, the FOGR lists are handy to use with it, as the Italian Wars lists are a little incomplete in WITAOD.
HI All
Thanks for you replies.
I am sure Shedman and I will be able to do a deal. (He has sensibly turned down the offer of my body :) ) so that gets me my copy to see if I can make it more playable.
I have previously simplified the casualty chart to stop the. I want to fire 2 Arquebus at your landknects to see if I can get a single casualty on it. ( provided I throw a six and the winds in the right direction).
So there might be some mileage there

This must be the only set I have never looked at - I will have to look out a copy. Could save me a lot of work, Do you know if its still in print?
If I can get a workable set of rules It may inspire me to print the 400 painted Mikes Models I picked up on Ebay $ years ago to math the several hundred I already have.
Hi Shedman,
I have sent you a PM
Shedman, not sure where you are so here are two stockists of Warfare in the Age of Discovery:
