Hi, I just wrote on my blog two articles about the two big battles we played in January-February. Here is the link:

Le Manchou
And THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is what we all aspire to when we play 19th Century games!
Amazing. (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)
Amazing stuff ! :-bd
Cheers - Phil
C'est manifique! Merci d'avoir posté!
'Tres Bon' as we say in England :D ;). This is exactly the sort of 2D map that I'm thinking about for future BBB games.
Excellent stuff!
Like everything apart form the table. Sorry, but the 2D terrain -apart from the fields- does nothing for me although I can understand people who like this approach as it is quite impressive. My problem is that I prefer the complete visual aspect of a game rather than this style.
Vraiment cool! Très rétro . On a l'impression de Kriegspiel et Wargaming comment H.G. Wells imaginé quand il a écrit "Little Wars"

Crikey - we're still in the EU then?
Very Impressive! Love the map board - very stylish.
I vote FPW. Vive La 10mm.
C'est magnifique et vraiment c'est la guerre
Thank you all for your nice comments. Next winter, we plan to play Sedan 1870 and Custozza 1866 (I still need to paint at least 2 italian divisions. I then will work on Sadowa, to do it in winter 2018, with a Waterloo 3.0 (adding the Prussians and total battle miniatures 6mm buildings from my Waterloo 2.0) during the same winter.
Sounds formidable!
Someone is going to be very busy.
Hello
I'm very late with this BatRep ! :-[
We had two big games with LeManchou, this is the first one, St Privat :

Wow, you guys have so many troops on the table :o. I'd be hard pressed to keep up with all the actions going on!!! Still it does look damned good :).
So awesome!

Yes ! and that's good ! You have to bother with your own divisions, and suddenly you realized what's going on next to you. ( Usually, I then shout "help !" :P ;) )
excellent looking game - well done
And at the mention of Solferino on the Bank Holiday Monday we will be fighting the French v Austrian bit of the battle using BBB
:o :-bd =D> :-bd =D>
O .... M ... G!!That looks phenomenal and sounds like some great gaming too.
That really does look splendid ! :-bd
Cheers - Phil
Thanks a lot Ronan, your report is much better than mine. For your conclusion on a Prussian victory, I have to disagree as nowhere our line was broken or weak. But there was still plenty of time (7 turns left in an 18 turns game) before night and who knows what would have happened, so a draw seems more fair.

yes, may be ( I was sooo late for this AAR, may be I forgot this. You may be right, my commander, the prussians had so many casualties ( cav and artilleries )
.. so you meant : I was not on the losing side this time ?! :D
