Do people who go to such movies notice there's a difference?

That's a bit of an elitist comment FK.

I'm sure a lot of people know the difference between Bronte and Austen, but are quite looking forward to the film.

We've already had Cowboys and Aliens. Perhaps we should have something like Harry Potter and the trip to buy new curtains.

Well, "Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters" is waiting in the wings: and "Little Vampire Women" and my favourite "Android Karenina".

What about the Bronte's though. "The Terror of Wildfell Hall," "Jane Eerie," "Wuthering Heights," well that's a ghost story anyway.

There is in fact an entire series of books which take classics and puts them in some sort of supernatural setting. Unfortunately I can't remember any of the titles but I think Wuthering Heights was one of the books covered.
