I have just received the sad news from his wife Victoria that Wayne England has passed away today.
The older generation among us may remember him for his artwork for GW and other industriy heavyweights.
R.I.P :(
RIP
Though I must admit I have never heard of him
Bugger :(
My brother is well into the magic scene and had met him at tournaments (over many pints) very affable character by all accounts. Loved his art style.
Awwww.....No ! :(
One of the guys I worked with at GW.
That is very sad news....Loved his art work.....And he was a really smashing bloke...Got on with him very well.
I'm stunned.
R.I. P Wayne.
Cheers - Phil.
55 years.
f*** that.
That's no age at all. RIP

Sorry to hear that Techno, wondered if you knew him when the GW connection was mentioned
:(
Yes, Paul.....I think he joined 6 months to a year after I did.
I used to have a few bits of his artwork.....A Titan and a few Bloodbowl players.
Mrs T was asking, "How old was he ?"....I didn't realise he was only 55.
Tony Ackland phoned last night while we were outside finishing 'doing' the horses...I can be fairly certain that, that was to tell me the sad news.
Cheers - Phil
Blimey, only 55! Far, far too young and only a few years older than me.
I googled his artwork.
Kicked off some memories, took me back.
RIP.
Well that sucks....
I too FSN. I remember seeing some of his original artwork at GW during a Mordheim tournament and they really were superb. A sad loss of a very talented artist.
I have always enjoyed his work.
