I take it that this a Pendraken figure since you didn't say it was anything else.

If so it is a remarkable paint job.

So the trick is to blow them up to 25mm in the good old transmogrifier - paint them - then back to 10mm?

That's superb - I've seen plenty of less well done actual 28mm figures, never mind in 10mm :o 8)
