I would try Simon at S&A Scenics.

http://scenics.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&layout=rt_cerulean:cerulean&id=28&Itemid=101

Most of his roads and rivers are made of felt with a textured surface that will run up and down hills.  He used to make some rivers out of MDF.

He made me soem MDF wadis  as a special, so you could ask him.

I have dealt with him for at least 15 years and he is  a very nice bloke and totally honest.  He products are well made and lasts well.  I would highly recommend him

I would give hiim a call or speak to him at one of the shows.

I use S&A rivers and streams. The are made in three widths so represent rivers or streams at various scales.

Middle width with 10mm figures.

At shows S&A products are carried by Lancashire games.

I concur on S&A scenic, the club just bought a load of Simon's Hills and trees and they all look great and fit in with the road/river/stream sections.

I believe he's going to the York show on Sunday if you're in the area.

I bought a load of roads & streams from Fat Frank on eBay - latex, about 2mm thick, but he'll do some customisation - I wanted my streams less blue & more muddy, and asked for some tarmaced roads with no grass verges. I'm considering going back for a bit of wider river now too.
