Hi Everyone
Here is the first 100% complete others to follow this week
Is that a Sheridan?
The awesome M551 only allowed to have 1 live round on board at one point till they ironed out the fact the ammo would blow up the tank that fired it not the target :D :D
Lovely work as always 8)
Why thank you Sir :)
I HAVE PUT THE M60's on the New Figure previews listing

As said on another thread, this is a superb looking model. I can recall them in Germany in the mid-1970s out of Ansbach. The light alloy armour and good engine gave them an impressive performance. The hassle with the gun was no doubt sorted by that time. The temperate conditions in Europe probably helped. Extraction of fumes remained an issue.
I don't think it was ever exported or used by other armies ?
US use only.....far too complex, and the missile system never worked properly. Certainly it was never fired in combat, not issued in Vietnam, and withdrawn by Desert Storm. Firing the gun caused a 3ft jump. far too much gun for the vehicle. But it does look great.

I remember seeing a few of these in the mid-70's being used by the 101st Airborne...that summer they were playing the Russians...sorry, I mean 'Orange Forces'.
I remember having to defend a pub...we held out until the bitter ended!

Very good ! :)

They did trials with a Sheridan fitted with 76mm gun from a walker bulldog and later a Stingray 105mm turret so there are other options
