Interesting that you got a higher figure . Did you ask the site to exclude Nobby's posts?

That's what me mum says.
In her more lucid moments.
You can' trust those new fangled on line sites, I recon the pus alone must be worth at least one pound nineteen shillings and seven pence three farthings.
Nice typo Dan! ;D

What is frightening is that if Fenton DID exclude (I didn't ) - your posts are a 300% value add!
Perhaps it will be Marquis in next year's honors ( or honours) - as I said frightening :o

That one Dan! ;D
Sounds like a line from Blackadder :)
You'd have to offer me a lot more than that to let someone buy this bag of loons... :D This place is invaluable to us.

why do you persist in thinking this was a typo? I know what I wrote :D

Even as a recent inhabinant I have noticed the loonery.
Here is a possible physical model of the place:

That's not quite what I thought loons look like!
How do you fatten the white jacket with extra long sleeves!
No, Guy, noooooooooo...... X_X
They look like ducks......You'll set all the complete oiks off, AGAIN. ;)

DUCKMEN NOW - just to be utterly predictable. And where are the wombles with AK's
WORK FASTERHappy now Phil ?IanS ;)
I could not fully read the very small type on Techno's comment
I think it said
"I am hot on making superb duckmen.....Now give me the specifications and leave me alone to do the masters." :P
As this is the case and the Loons look very smart in black and white can we add "Loon Guard" to the range. I think they would look good armed with Tridents and Nets. :) :)

Quotethe Loons look very smart in black and white
I had a very smart pair of black and grey loons in the mid 1970, and a great pair of silver and grey platform shoes.
If you're doing Wombles (I remember them from the 70s) how about a range of 1970's fashion victims?

That would be easy for Techno . He could just stand in front of a mirror and do a self sculptrait ( I doubt if that's word)

That's very rude Fenton - But very funny
=O =O =O =O
If I sculpted me (in front of a mirror) all you'd get would be a scruffy looking zombie.
My only pair of loons were a vile magenta colour.
Cheers - Phil
I had purple and turquoise flares.it was a horrible time

It was a great time, the clothes might have been a bit dodgy but we had a lot more freedom than today, and the weather was better... who can remember the summer of 1976?
If you can remember the summer of '76 then you obviously didn't have sunstroke like I did. As to clothes! Who wore any that year?

No, I had a great summer, I walked the Pennine Way and apart from a couple of small thunder storms had constant sunshine. My main problem was the lack of water and the bogs catching fire in the Dark Peak; once the heather had burned off the fire got into the peat itself.

Happened at one of our events once... ;D
